Gluten-Free Grains and Flours
There are many gluten-free flour options. As none of them exactly mimic wheat flour, it is always recommended to mix gluten-free flours to get better results. My favourite mixes include Cassava Flour and Quinoa Flour as milder tasting flours that work well together. I often add almond or coconut flour to this mix, depending on what I'm baking.

We love poached eggs. However, we tried and tried (and tried!) to cook them in a pot of water and the experience was more frustrating than gratifying. I heard about these poachers and hunted for one that was PFOA free and stainless steel. This one is great. Even though they say non-stick, we get best results if we spritz a bit a oil in the cups. Bring the water to boil, reduce the heat to just under medium, place the poacher in the pan, cover with the lid, set your timer for 5 minutes and voila, perfect poached eggs. I try not to have an abundance of kitchen equipment that I don't use, especially specialty items likes this that only have one purpose, but the items I do have, I love and use! This is one of them!
