Environmental Statement

As an Intentional Living Consultant, I consider our environmental footprint seriously. Efforts are made to reduce, reuse, recycle. Where I observe toxins in your home, I offer swap ideas to reduce the chemical environment to improve the health of your family.

I prioritize the use of eco-friendly cleaners, reusing items, avoiding the use of plastics. Items being removed from the home are donated (or sold) as a priority before being sent to a landfill.

Do you avoid looking around your home because the clutter brings feelings of guilt and stress? Is there clutter in “every” corner?

Do you apologize to guests before they arrive for “the mess”? Maybe you even avoid having guests over and opt to go out.

Do you dread coming home because there’s “so much work to do” and you don’t have the energy to deal with it? And if you did have the energy, you don’t know where to start.

I’m here to help.

Through a series of sessions, I help not only reduce the items in your home, but more importantly, guide you through the mindset of doing so guilt free. Together we identify what items are important and serve a purpose and which items don’t. Letting go of our possessions is not an easy process, but I’m here to offer strong support and gentle guidance.

During this process you will feel a reduction in stress, overwhelm, and guilt. You will love your living space! You’ll be proud to host your friends and family.

Several package options are available for minimizing services. As each home situation is unique, an accurate quote can be provided after an in-home or Zoom consultation.

The Intentional Living series uses room categories to focus on minimizing and decluttering areas that matter most to you. I take care of all the details so you can focus on the task at hand, with guidance. You are not alone through this process. Experience the freedom of letting go and feel in control of your home.

Our initial assessment phone call is free. We then book an in-person or Zoom consultation for an $89.00 fee. As each home is different, and each homeowner has unique needs, a quote for services is provided after a consultation. The consultation fee ($89.00) is reimbursed if you book the quoted services within 24 hours of receiving the quote.

If the following packages are not the best fit for you, we can design a custom quote for your situation.

Intentional Living Spaces

Includes: Living room, Family room, Dining room, Playroom

Are you able to use your living spaces as you intended? Can you eat together at your dining table? Can you cuddle on your sofa? Can you walk into the playroom without stepping on Lego™ bricks? Do you feel relaxed about your visiting space when you have friends over?

With the Intentional Living Spaces package, we work together to determine the best function for the rooms you “live” in – living room, family room, dining room, playroom – and then make those ideas a reality.

As each home is different, and each homeowner has unique needs, quotes are provided after a consultation.

Intentional Small Spaces

Includes: Entrance Ways, Closets, Bathrooms

This package focuses on the small areas that tend to get jam packed. It’s refreshing to enter your home and feel peace and calm. A well-planned entrance way can provide this feeling. Develop systems that stay on top of entry way clutter and eliminate “drop-zones” (junk collecting areas).

Do you use the flat sheet on your bed? Open your linen closet and know that you use every item on the shelves.

When was the last time you checked the expiry dates on your medications? Do you share the bathroom counter space with others? Can you see the countertop? Every space has a specific function, we work together to pinpoint your needs and create the space to meet your expectations.

As each home is different, and each homeowner has unique needs, quotes are provided after a consultation.

Intentional Kitchen

Includes: Kitchen, Fridge, Pantry

Organizing a kitchen is difficult. Did you know that you likely have a favourite spatula, but you just never thought about it? True story. Kitchens are great for hiding items in the backs of cupboards where you forget you even have them. How many one-off gadgets do you have and do you use them?

Get on top of your kitchen space and maximize its function while minimizing what you need. Reclaim your counter space. Apply systems to help your fridge and pantry stay organized and free of spoiled or expired food.

As each home is different, and each homeowner has unique needs, quotes are provided after a consultation.

Intentional Bedrooms

Includes: Master bedroom, Wardrobe Organization, Secondary Bedrooms

A bedroom should be a place of “Zen.” Calm, peaceful relaxation. A place to sleep. Does this describe your bedroom? If not, we need to talk. A cluttered busy bedroom does not offer a space to restore your body for the next day’s activities. Minimizing a bedroom, to just be a bedroom, is essential to your good health and wellness.

Is your closet bursting at the seams? I’m not a fashionista, but I can provide a practical wardrobe advice that will simplify the answer to “what should I wear today?”

Intentional Home Office

Includes: Home Office, Paperwork Filing, Paperwork Systems, Shredding

Do you have a filing system? Do you often misplace your household bills and end up paying late fees? Get your office and paperwork in order to make finding your important papers easy. Tax time? Have peace of mind that your paperwork is ready to go, no last-minute scrambling. See the top of your desk and have room to work with less distraction.

As each home is different, and each homeowner has unique needs, quotes are provided after a consultation.

Intentional Basement

Includes: Recreation Room, Laundry Room, Storage Area

“Just put it in the basement.” Is this a common statement in your home? Basement storage holds many items we don’t even remember we have. And that is a big problem. Reconsider your storage areas for function and organization.

Is your rec room meeting your family’s needs? Is it inviting to use?

How cluttered is your laundry area?

Use your basement as functional space for your family.

With the Intentional Home package, we plan a longer-term project and break it down into small manageable bites. Bit by bit we get through it all. And I promise you one thing, as daunting as it is to start, it doesn’t take long to see the benefits of minimizing. Suddenly it’s totally freeing, I promise this switch flips.

You’re not alone. I provide non-judgment, understanding and patience and we work thorough your belongings together. With gentle nudges I remind you of your goals and intentions and before you know it you win the “battle of stuff.”
