Dried-Out Markers

I don’t know about you, but I find it so frustrating to come across dried-out markers when I’m working on a craft project. And I’m sure kids must feel the same way when they are colouring. Coming across a dried out marker steals moments of creativity. It pops you out of your project. So let’s take care of that issue in one swoop. I have a fun one for you today — testing and tossing dried out markers. Get your kids involved! (If you prefer video, scroll to the bottom of this post.)

I have all kinds of markers in my house and I imagine you do too:

The task today is simple, test them and toss the ones that are dried out.

Additionally, consider how many of each is a reasonable number for your home. How many highlighters and different colours do you really need? How often you use them? A student studying at university will likely have a higher need for highlighters to be readily on hand than say someone who works a job that doesn’t require as much studying.

Kids markers tend to collect in abundance because they get a new set for school each year.

COLOURS!

The maintenance plan moving forward is if a marker is dry, throw it out immediately, not back in the box. 😊
